After earning a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, Dr. Olsen fulfilled a life-long goal of becoming a veterinarian, graduating from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She has spent her career in private practice working with dogs and cats as well as small mammals and reptiles.
Dr. Olsen’s professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dental surgery, and wellness care. She has affiliations with AVMA and WVMA and is Fear Free certified. One of the best parts of her job is getting to know families and developing relationships to allow for personalized health care throughout the life of a pet.
Dr. Olsen enjoys spending time with family including her dog Lucy. In her free time, she likes to travel, swim, water ski, garden, cook, enjoy live music, and discover new craft breweries.
